The DIGIVAR signal calibrator is a highly versatile instrument, as it enables signals to be read and generated at the same time. All the functions can be accessed with 3 buttons on the front with the help of the interactive menu which guides the required function step by step.

Convenient, easy connection

Both the RS232 connection and the plug for recharging the battery are situated on the front of the instrument. This means the instrument does not need to be removed from its cover.

Calibrations of converters and transmitters

The generation and reading functions are clearly differentiated. The instrument enables signals to be generated and read simultaneously. It enables a signal transmitter to be supplied and simulated. The input, output and the RS232 are completely insulated from each other.

Calibration routine

This function is useful for automation of calibration of converters and transmitters. Low and high scale limits can be programmed in the simulation function. The DIGIVAR calculates 9 intermediate values out of a 10 in 10% of the selected reading range. At the same time as it generates the signals, it can memorize the readings at the output of the instrument to be calibrated. This means that calibration can be carried out 'with no hands'.

Data acquisition

The DIGIVAR can read and memorize 750 points. The sampling time is programmable from 1 to 99 seconds.
